Description
The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution improves the appearance of fine lines and the look of skin texture. With a strong 30% concentration of Alpha Hydroxy Acids which includes Lactic, Glycolic, Citric and Tartaric, this 10-minute exfoliating facial has a transformative effect on the skin. This formula also includes 2% Beta Hydroxy Acid (Salicylic Acid), a Hyaluronic Acid Crosspolymer, Black Carrot, Vitamin B5 and Tasmanian Pepperberry. AHAs are used for their exfoliating effect on the skin’s surface, evening out and brightening skin tone. BHAs go beyond the surface, working to clear congested pores and reduce blemishes, delivering a more radiant complexion. Continued use of this exfoliator has also been shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines.
This product is free of many skin irritants, including alcohol, silicone, oil and gluten. It is also cruelty-free and vegan. Skincare containing acid often leads to visible irritation, however, the inclusion of Tasmanian Pepperberry in this formula counteracts much of the irritation caused by the acids. Hyaluronic acid is present to deliver a comforting effect to the skin, while Vitamin B5 supports healing.
Use this product after cleansing. Thoroughly dry your face and neck before applying. Leave for no longer than 10 minutes and then rinse. Use no more than twice a week.
Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than twice per week. Clean face and wait for skin to dry. Do not use on wet skin. Apply evenly across face and neck using your fingertips. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes both during application and rinse off. This low-viscosity solution is intended to be used as a masque. Do not leave on for longer than 10 minutes. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician.
Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. Use only as directed. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration.
